The foundation and future of our communities center around our youth. The TMF helps youth realize their highest potential through basketball camps and activities that teach more than athletic skills, along with initiatives to support the families they depend on.

For our youth to thrive, they need a safe, supportive environment. That’s why our foundation extends its efforts to provide families and their communities with the assistance and resources that can lift all boats. Learn about some of our key initiatives:
FRIENDS & FAMILY WEEKEND

The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Friends & Family Weekend features a Night of Giving Mixer and Dinner, a celebrity golf tournament, and the Annual 1% Skills Camp Philadelphia, aiming to support our community, youth, and their families.
SCHOLARSHIPS
In the continuous effort to promote education and youth empowerment, The Tyrese Maxey Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to Philadelphia high school juniors and seniors. The scholarship will not only assist with tuition costs but also provide motivation and encouragement for students to pursue their educational dreams. This support can be transformative, helping to create a more skilled and educated workforce.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
The Annual Holiday Toy Drive collects new and gently used toys throughout Dallas and Philadelphia to be donated at Children’s Health Dallas and the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY TURKEY GIVEAWAY
This past holiday season, we hosted hundreds of families in giving no-cost, full Thanksgiving Turkey dinners with sides, fresh produce, and sweet treats in Philadelphia at the George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science.​ ​Together with our partners Goff Law Group, The Barkann Family – Healing Hearts Foundation, Pure Fuel, DTLR, Campbell’s, Gerhard’s Appliances and dedicated local community volunteers, we were able to feed over 2000 households with healthy nutritious meals that fed various families of up to eight people.
